Volvo Construction Equipment (CE) Korea has won the Best Prize award in the 2021 Customer Satisfaction Management awards for its proactive sales and service efforts to drive customer success, the company said Monday.

The company said it won the top prize at the award ceremony held on Jan. 22. The Customer Satisfaction Management Awards, overseen by the Korea Sustainability Management Evaluation and sponsored by the Association of Korean Journalists, has been rendering awards to companies that practice management for customer satisfaction and lead economic and social advances. This year marked its 15th anniversary.

The company said it was recognized for its efforts to prioritize sustainable growth and success in every business step including production, sales, marketing and research and development.

"In Korea, Volvo CE is continuing to enhance collaborations across function to provide innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions that fit into any work environments," the company said.

"In particular, the company was selected as a designated partner of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) for the Sejong Smart City project and is planning to apply and verify its next-generation construction equipment based on its smart construction technologies in automation, electro-mobility and connectivity."

The company also helps its customers improve work efficiency with its digital technologies. Volvo CE has been providing Dig Assist, a system offering real-time information to drivers without the help of separate measures; Volvo Active Control, Volvo's unique machine guidance; and Volvo CareTrack, a telematics system with remote equipment monitoring, the company said.

"In addition, by participating in the Sejong Smart City Project as the selected construction automation partner of LH, Volvo CE is leading the technology of smart construction machinery in Korea," the company added.

"Through this award, Volvo Group Korea once again confirmed its position as the leader in customer satisfaction management in the industry," said JT Lim, head of Market Korea. "We will keep working on providing more convenient, safe and eco-friendly products and services for our customers' sustainable growth and success."
