Visitors watch a video about Busan's bid to host the World Expo 2030 at a promotional booth which opened Tuesday at Busan City Hall. The venue for the World Expo 2030 is expected to be decided by the end of the year. President Yoon Suk-yeol, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon, in cooperation with the nation's conglomerates, will place the Busan Expo campaign at the top of their diplomatic priority list for this year. "Most importantly, this is the year to select the host city of the World Expo 2030. We will surely achieve this dream and witness a new history of Busan's development right in front of our eyes. I invite all of our citizens to get behind our campaign until the moment Busan World Expo 2030 becomes a reality," Park said in his New Year address. / Yonhap
